Model Penal Code § 2.01(2)—exceptions to actus reus may apply when the act results from:
- a reflex or convulsion;
- bodily movement during unconsciousness/sleep;
- conduct during or resulting from hypnosis; or
- a movement otherwise not a product of the effort or determination of the actor.
